About the Author
Jenny Spinner is an associate professor of English at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia where she teaches writing and journalism. She received her MA and PhD in English from the University of Connecticut and her MFA in Nonfiction Writing from Penn State University. While she has lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, and Minnesota, she still considers Illinois, where she grew up, home. She now resides in Philly with her husband and three young sons.
In 2006, she helped author a book by her twin Jackie Spinner. You can find that book, Tell Them I Didn’t Cry: A Young Journalist’s Story of Joy, Loss, and Survival in Iraq, here.
